The next iPhone SE is launching on February 19, Tim Cook confirms
Apple CEO Tim Cook has taken to X today to announce the fact that "the newest member of the family" will be made official on February 19.
Based on all the leaks we've seen so far, and a confirmation from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, who is always in the know regarding Apple products, this will be the next iPhone SE, tentatively called iPhone SE 4, and sometimes rumored to be arriving as the iPhone 16E.
Get ready to meet the newest member of the family.

That said, Apple is likely to just call it iPhone SE again, like it's done with all of its predecessors. The handset has been rumored to come with iPhone 14 looks, the A18 chip, 8GB of RAM, and one single rear camera.
It's expected to start at $499, matching the rumored pricing of the also-upcoming Google Pixel 9a, with which it will compete head-on in markets devoid of a lot of good mid-range options, like the US and Canada.
