The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 are launching on August 20

We’ve been waiting for these for a while now, but the wait is almost over – the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 will be officially unveiled on August 20 (that’s Tuesday next week). The event will be held at 13:00 UTC, which is in the morning over in the Americas, early afternoon in Europe and the evening in India, which promises a global launch.

You can check out the official landing page, which is teeming with offers. For example, you can subscribe to OnePlus’ newsletter for a chance to win one of ten free pairs of buds – and if you don’t win, you at least get a £10 discount. You can also link a current OnePlus phone with an account and get an additional £10 off. You might be able to snag an additional £10 off through the OnePlus Store app.

You might want to start piling on those discounts, since rumor has it that the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 will be more expensive than their predecessors – the Buds Pro 2 were €180, these will be €200. Leaked specs detail a dual driver setup (11mm woofers, 6mm tweeters), LHDC 5.0 codec (up to 1Mbps at 24-bit/192kHz), 50dB active noise cancellation and an IP55 rating for the buds.

Leaked renders show that the buds will keep the stem design, but will have a new charging case where the stems go down into the case rather than lying flat. The unofficial renders show the buds and case in two colors: Midnight Opus (black) and Lunar Radiance (ivory), both with a leather-like texture on the case.

Please launch the next gen neckband, OnePlus

I'm thinking the same. Don't want Buds 3 Pro since the mic captation isn't that much improved despite the stem (!!), Nothing Ear 2 have better mic! I wonder how these Oppo will sound, how the ANC will far and also how the mic capta...

Samsung it's time to update your SSC codec. We want Lossless not simply Hi-Res! Bring us 24-bit at 192kHz resolution woth 1Mbps or higher ... 2.1Mbps would be sweet for Lossy audio! And enable it by default please!!
