The OnePlus Open will be unveiled on October 19
OnePlus is gearing up to launch its first foldable, dubbed the OnePlus Open, and it has officially set a date for the reveal – October 19. That’s Thursday next week, so the phone is almost here. In fact, you can sort of pre-order one.
Here’s the early bird offer. You can put down a €99/£99 deposit now and get €250/£250 off the final price of the phone, plus a free pair of OnePlus Buds Pro 2 (valued at €180/£180). For more details, head over to the promo page.
A similar deal is available in the US and Canada too – yes, North America is getting an interesting phone. If you’re not sure about pre-ordering just yet, you can grab USD 50/CAD 60 worth of credit by subscribing to OnePlus’ email campaign.
We don’t know how much the OnePlus Open will cost, but we’ve heard rumors and that $200/€250/£250 discount will certainly help make the price more palatable.
The Open is related to the Oppo Find N3, which will also be unveiled on October 19. We don’t expect these phones to have many overlapping markets (certainly not North America), they will mostly stay out of each other’s toes.
In case you missed it, check out the official first look at the phone.
