Samsung Galaxy S22 will only support 25W charging, 45W is for its bigger siblings

The mother of all leaks revealed that the Galaxy S22+ and S22 Ultra will support 45W fast charging. There was some hope that the vanilla Galaxy S22, but that hope has been dashed by Nieuwe Mobiel.

The vanilla S22 will top out at the same 25W as its predecessor and will need 70 minutes to charge its 3,700 mAh battery (300 mAh smaller than the S21). The S21+ will be able to use a 45W charger and will be able to top up its 4,500 mAh battery in 60 minutes.

Our tests of the S21 showed that it needs 73 minutes for a full charge, the S21+ did it in 72 minutes. And to be clear, the S22 phones will not come with any charger – you will have to use your own or buy a new one.

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S22 series on February 9, however, there may be a delay in the open sale of Galaxy S22 and S22+.

yeah because it's more compact thatn last year plus model, has 45w charging, and better battery than the s21

It is not point in charging speed. Point is in "not included" charger anymore. When buying 800 EUR smartphone many people expect charger to be there. S21 FE is capable of 25W...Why would you use charger capable only 15W? It is like us...
