There will be no new Asus phones this year, report claims
The latest Asus smartphone is the Zenfone 12 Ultra, which launched in February of last year. With that in mind, you may have been expecting a Zenfone 13 Ultra, or an ROG Phone 10 series to arrive soon, but according to a new report, you'll be disappointed.
Apparently Asus will not be launching any new smartphones this year. This allegedly comes straight from the company itself, which also promises that maintenance, software updates, and warranty services for all existing devices will continue without issue.

It's unclear what the reason for deciding not to launch any more smartphones is, but it's not hard to guess that Asus handsets haven't been selling very well lately, and so the company may have decided its focus (and money) is better invested in the computer space, where its market share is many times higher.

Even Sony seems to have abandoned the Xperia 5 series. Sony chose the wrong time for such a decision when the Chinese brands are starting to get into the compact flagship bandwagon.

I don't care much about the Zenfone. But no new ROG Phone? Well, that's a real bummer!
