If this is the point then other sate... morenot the same satellite constellation, not the same global coverage, not the same ability to search and establish connection. treat this phone as equipment rather than consumer electronics, it is expensive because of bundled services

        why so many people yelling like like kids in this comment section? This phone is not for normal users, if need one at work your company will issue you one. and the quotation for enterprise customers could be significantly lower lol

          Basically the HMD Crest Max/Fusion modified to support satellite connectivity.

              This phone is not for regular costumers, The brand is well known in rural areas and dessert locations where there is no cell coverage, unlike emergency messages that is supported by apple and other manufacturers, the Thuraya phone offers full satellite call support, in addition to normal cellular support.
              Oil and security companies for example will have no issues with the 1200$ price tag.

                1200 euros? i think gsm is put wrong price, its just 120 euros only?

                      50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), 1/2.76", PDAF camera, 2x2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 processor, plastic back, plastic frame, 3500mAh battery, 11.2mm thickness and priced at €1200. What's the point?

                        This thing has a decent, kinda midrangey chip and a goodish camera but 3500mAh!? Even the itel A04 got bigger one. Just hope the software and chip optimization makes up for it.
                        I mean it has satellite connectivity but 1200 europapas? You're better off with a flagship. Makes the Zenfone 12 and Armor 28 UT look like a great deal. Only worth if you want that "satellite connectivity" otherwise this is just e-waste.
