T-Mobile Galaxy S5 sign-up page exceeds 300,000 people

07 March, 2014

Some 300,000 people have signed up to receive updates on the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S5 webpage. Users also got incentive to share their personal information with the carrier, which is giving away a free Galaxy S5 to a few lucky subscribers.

Naturally, not all of the people who've signed up to receive details of the Galaxy S5 will rush to the T-Mobile stores to pick one up, but it shows that the interest towards the device is substantial.

Samsung Mobile's chief J.K. Shin hasn't shared his expectations on how many Galaxy S5 will be sold in the first month. He's done so in the past with the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy S4.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 launches globally on April 11. It's currently on pre-order at multiple retailers and carriers around Europe. Sweden, Russia and the Czech Republic as well as the Netherlands and Romania have begun taking orders for the upcoming flagship.
