T-Mobile myTouch 3G and 3G Slide will get the Froyo treatment

It's now official, folks. HTC has confirmed for T-Mobile that both myTouch 3G and myTouch 3G Slide will be updated with the latest Android v2.2 Froyo.

We are sure all of myTouch 3G users were wondering what plans HTC had for their devices. Well, it is now officially confirmed that both myTouch 3G and myTouch 3G Slide will get a chance to taste some Froyo.

You can find the official HTC statement here. There is still no information on the date when the update will be available but it shouldn't take too long and knowing that your device is certain to get an update makes the wait all the more bearable.
