T-Mobile will be offering Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows 10 VR
T-Mobile USA unveiled a very interesting smartphone today - the Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows 10 VR. There is already an existing Idol 4S, but this new edition has nothing to do with its Android sibling by name.
The Idol 4S with Windows 10 VR will be coming soon to T-Mobile US. The phone is of the flagship kind with a 5.5" AMOLED screen of 1080p resolution and a Snapdragon 820 chip with 4GB RAM. The rest of its specs include 64GB expandable storage, a 21MP main camera with phase-detection AF, am 8MP selfie snapper, stereo speakers, and the latest Windows 10 Mobile OS with support for VR and Windows Continuum.
T-Mobile will be throwing in free VR goggles with any Idol 4S and there will be enough free VR pre-loaded content (games and videos) provided to get you started. The offer also includes a 45-day Hulu subscription, a 60-day Groove Music trial, and the Halo Spartan game for free.
The Alcatel Idol 4S looks good on the outside, too, with a 2.5D glass finish and Halo Gold-painted metal frame. The flagship will soon go on sale at T-Mobile, though the exact pricing and availability are yet to be detailed.

The DTEK60 has half the storage and ≈1.6 million more screen pixels with its QHD AMOLED display.

I'm sure it was just to keep cost down, with pouring all the day of that premium tech in there.
