T-Mobile's Galaxy Note9 gets Android 9 Pie with One UI too
Today T-Mobile has started sending out the update to Android 9 Pie to the Samsung Galaxy Note9 units it's sold. The carrier definitely hasn't been the fastest out of the gate with this release, but it's finally here. On top of what Google's added to Pie, you also get Samsung's revamped One UI, which is its newest take on an Android skin.
As always, the update should be rolling out over-the-air in stages, so even if you don't have it already you should be receiving a notification at some point within the next few days. Once you install the new software, you'll be on firmware version N960U1UEU1CSB3.
As a bonus, you will also get a new e911 call flow, a fix for compass calibration, and a BYOD update. If you want to manually check for the availability of the new release, you can head to the Software update section in Settings.
