T-Mobile's HTC One M9 gets Marshmallow on February 16

Vlad, 12 February, 2016

If you own an HTC One M9 purchased from T-Mobile you may have been wondering when the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow will finally hit your device. And today that information has been made public by none other than Mo Versi, HTC's VP of product management.

The update has now received technical approval from the carrier, and the over-the-air rollout is set to commence on Tuesday, February 16. Of course, as with all such releases, do expect it to take a few days before Marshmallow graces all of T-Mobile's M9 units out there. But at least now we have a date to speak of.

The Marshmallow update has already made it to units sold unlocked in the US, as well as those sold by Sprint. And it looks like TMo's M9 is next in line.
