T-Mobile’s LG V60 ThinQ 5G receives April security patch

Our review of the LG V60 ThinQ 5G just went live over the weekend – so check that out if you’re interested. While we were getting this review set up to be published, our T-Mobile variant (LM-V600) of the LG V60 received an update notification to receive the April security update.

Sadly, the update only appears to bring the security certification up to date but doesn’t add or update any other features. The update screen only mentioned that it would “Improve the security of your device”.

There’s no information about the update on T-Mobile’s Software update support pages and we’d imagine other variants should be updated soon.
