Top ten fan favorite phones in September

George, 27 September, 2015

Our Top 10 trending chart counts specs page hits, mostly dictated by practical considerations in the lines of price, size, network coverage, the like. In other words, "Which one should I buy" type of attitude drives those numbers.

Fan love doesn't live within such constraints and our September chart of Top 10 fan favorite phones shows markedly different results than the trending lists of late. Starting from the top, it's the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium that's gathered up the strongest fanbase this month, ahead of the OnePlus 2 - both Sony and OnePlus have a reputation for a near cult-like following, so no surprises here.

The list continues with a pair of Samsung Galaxy Notes. It's the Note5 that takes third spot in terms of newly discovered devotees, followed by it's year-old brother, the Note 4. We imagine that it's European readers hitting the heart button on the Note 4 in the absence of the next-gen model on their shelves.

Anyways, the Xperia Z3 is fifth by number of new recruitments this month, ahead of the Galaxy S6. Some fan love spills over the LG G4 too, followed by yet another Xperia, the plain Z5. Motorola's flagship Moto X Style and the iPhone 6s complete the list of flagships, disturbed by one "flagship killer".
