There is a press statement from Toshiba that it will be available in South and Southeast Asia in 3Q, which means very soon. I still don't find it on the Toshiba Asia website though.

Btw, i searched the web if this device can be rooted, but none so far...
Base from other site reviews, build quality is good, but camera is poor.
Hope our dear custom rom developer will find solution to root this device, else this tab is incomplete...

This is better than Nexus7!!! I hope they will release this in the philippines the soonest!!!
Best tabs i've ever seen to date...
Ainol, Pipo U1, Nexus 7, Galaxy Tab, these tabs will surely EAT by this Toshiba EXCITE!!!
Btw, Will this support call using sim card??

The screen is better on that and the battery is also the best in the world on that.... Also now that they are both on latest ics, there is no visible performance difference.... And not to mention that you can use that as a proper phone if you want to....the nexus tab has an ordinary quality display even if it is 720p.... There is not enough internal memory and nor there is any microsd slot.... No back camera and wifi only... Its main charm is only a tegra3 which will kill battery performance even with jelly bean.... Not worth it.... Samsung galaxy tab7.7 is the best android tablet in the world....
