is anyone not annoyed that Toshiba hasn't tried to cover up the windows interface indeptly??? like the htc touch pro 2 etc, the 3 strip menu really isn't good enough cover if when you click on any application eg contacts it takes you back to old windows style!!!

Wow so who cares if it had a 4.1 screen but its a resistive touchscreen witch is nothing compared to a capacitive touch screen...capacitive screens are wayyyyy better i think alot of mobile phone brands should start making all their touch screen phones with a capacitive screen...then it would be worth spending ur money...and am sick of using styles's

It's a monster phone, I like it, I hope that in the near future we will get Regza clamshell phones from Toshiba, like in JAPAN!!!

Doesn't anyone think that for this phone having such a big screen, on the demo videos, the guy found it hard to click on the tiny icon for the calender, time etc, whats the point of the big screen if you are gonna have hard to click icons!!!

I dont understand why some people r complaining abt its 4.1' big Screen size...
Only because it's not easy to operate single handedly?
I got Nokia E90 with 4.0' Internal Screen...but with less width size...(wish the width is little more big too)
I use surfing a lot...so for Me the Big Screen Size is more Important to watch the web-sites comfortably.
I think Big Screen with High Resolution is always a Plus Point
If U r using Ur Phone for Mulimedia and Internet pUrpose.
Ya the major minus points of this phone are
no video
Only 1000Mah Battery
(it will be drained soon due to its Big Screen size)

No matter all the noise made about a product most people wouldnot buy until they have read previews on websites like GSMARENA. Let us see if the battery power is sufficient, I have a Nokia e71 with excellent battery power and though this phone is going to combine a lo of functions, if the battery power isn't good it wouldn't be worth it. I think phone manufacturers should think more deeply and test their products before relaese and too much noise

I don't mind if it's 2-3 mm thicker to accommodate 2000 mAH battery, 8 MP camera, 3D stereo speaker and 3.5" jack. TV receiver/recorder, 3d gaming will also be nice.
I mean, 4.1" display for standard winmo apps is just a waste. It should be a multimedia & gaming center with phone features not otherwise.
I will consider buying this if they put above specs in the TG01.

i think the spec on this site is not up to date as
Toshiba TG01 does have video and Secondary-Digital-Camera

Can anyone tell me what is so great about this device? Aside from the big screen (which btw makes the device to big for one handed operation)and the snapdragon processor, what are the other jaw-dropping specs? there are none!! On the other hand...
-No video
-No secondary camera
-Lame battery...
