Assault Grenadier, 03 Feb 2009ow my god, this one kills the N97!!!!!No, it doesn't kill the N97, the N97 is smaller in size (even if with smaller display, the mobile phone is intended to be small) has a 5MP camera with dual LED flash and autofocus, has a video call second camera, 32GB on board memory, 3.5mm headset connector..etc. So it doesn't kill the N97, it's just another solution besides the N97.

Anonymous, 03 Feb 2009it seems to have a secondary camera and handwrite recogniti... moreNo, that thing in the top is not the secondary camera, see here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXNbcv5yOb0
No secondary camera, 3MP with no flash, really big size, not sure if this would work against its 1GHz processor & display. But at least, for sure, these would reduce its chance to be a flagship.

Size:
130 x 71 x 9.9 mm
I wonder what they thought of when making a testing platform into an actual product... Its simply huge. For 4.1" screen you need 1280x720p resolution, not 800x480. My humble opinion.

Seems like an impressive device...yet there are a few things missing... no proximity sensor (auto turn-off), no handwriting recognition, no radio, no 5MP cam and no secondary video camera, no 3.5mm output jack... and IE?? Right...I´m sticking to Opera. So all in all it may be fast and have a large screen, but I´m sticking to the Touch HD. Just compare them and you´ll see...

This is sweet. Definitely a MID to watch out for. Competition is getting stiffer and stiffer between these touchscreen phones. The only thing that is sort of a turn off about this phone is winmo. Android, Symbian, OSX, and lately Palm OS are the ones getting impressive attention, but we'll see how this one fares with all of them. Nice, really nice.

adam s. , 03 Feb 2009Finally a phone to kill the junk iPhone. If it was a tri-band WCDMA (3G) then this could kill the iPhone. As it is, it'll be on even footing.
