Twitter Articles feature leaks with no character limit
Twitter may be planning to allow users to create posts that surpass the 240-character limit. According to a leak published by Jane Manchin Wong, Twitter may soon be implementing a “Twitter Article” feature into the platform.

- @SuperFollows-exclusive articles
- newsletter + in-app UX + on-platform conversation
- syndicated articles (by news sites) + news-reading subscription model (via a premium Twitter Blue tier) https://t.co/tWNp0SqWc8
There’s not much more solid evidence on what this feature would be used for. The leak’s discoverer suggests it may be a feature that’s exclusive to news outlets, Twitter Blue subscribers, or perhaps SuperFollow exclusive content.
A Twitter spokesperson told CNET that it will share more about Twitter Articles soon.
