Two more vivo phones to get 22.5W charging
BBK Electronics is the parent company of Oppo, OnePlus, and vivo. The first two have smartphones that are coupled with fancy-dubbed quick charging technologies, respectively VOOC and DASH Charge, but the latter still lacks such a moniker due to its shortage of true flagships.
When the Snapdragon 845-powered vivo NEX S arrived back in June, it was shipped with 22.5W charger in the retail box, and now, according to 3C certificates, two more vivo phones are getting the ultra-fast charging. It still does not have a proprietary nickname, but at least the portfolio is expanding.
Phones with model numbers V1809A and V1809T were approved with a power adapter type V2323A-CN that includes output of 5V at 2A, 9V at 2A and 10V at 2.25A. This is the very same charger that comes with the NEX S, so the upcoming devices phones could be part of the upcoming vivo X23 portfolio.
The charger, coupled with the certified smartphonesCurrently, faster charging is supported only by the Oppo Find X SuperFlash version and the premium Lamborghini Edition. The 3,400 mAh power cell can be charged from 0% to 100% in 35 minutes thanks to the SuperVOOC Flash Charge at 50W.
