UK retailer offering £25 credit to those who pre-ordered Samsung Galaxy Note7

Himanshu, 03 September, 2016

As you might already know, Samsung has announced a worldwide recall of the Galaxy Note7 over battery fire hazard, and all Note7 sales have been suspended. The company has already confirmed that shipments have been delayed as it's carrying out further quality testing on the handset.

While retailers are not to blame to for the whole situation, some of them are doing their bit to offer solace to their customers. For example, if you are in the UK and had pre-ordered a Samsung Galaxy Note7 through Carphone Warehouse, it's worth knowing that the retailer is offering £25 (around $33) account credit to compensate for the delay.

For its part, Samsung has made it clear that users' security is their priority at the moment, and there is currently no word on exactly when Galaxy Note7 shipments will resume, although we expect that to happen soon.
