Armor 8 Pro is a pretty cool phone, except for two (in my opinion) flaws. It heats up fast when charging. and being case and phone combined you can't take case off for cooler chargiong. the second flaw is the loudspeaketr has an open vent i guess you would call it where and metal attached to mine and the speaker no longer works. i have the replacemtb parts but, the loudspeaker is literally the very last thing you take out on teardown, and that scares me. and you really need the charging and black that came with it and prettyt much nothing else.

in my 30 years of having cell phones I never had one problem that my local guy could not fix. Non of them were regarded as a rugged phone! Im living in South Africa with one distributor and agent it seems. Screen broke, after it fell from my van.......accepted. But I was out of a phone and a lot of data was lost from the phone. Lately the screen started to die on me. Phoned them as I could not afford sending the phone away for 2 weeks to have it repaired. Tried to re calibrate the sensors or something to that.........did not resolve the issue. Today it crashed completely after I rinsed it........took it to the local guys, water in the phone. And yes all flaps are closed properly ! They cannot resolve the problem and you cannot find spares. This is a rubbish product!!!!!

Don’t get it! On it’s first use mine got rained on. Last time it worked. Then try dealing with seller and manufacturer- nightmare. The seller never responded and the manufacturer kept referring me back to the seller. They dragged this out until warranty expired then wanted me to send it to China to get fixed - all costs on me. In the end, not worth the dead ended hassle. Looks cool keeping paper down though.

Not rugged. Screen detached right after 1 fall just 3 weeks from use. Huge disappointment. Wrote in to them they asked to bear shipping and repair cost which is more than the cost of the phone so now I'm stuck with the phone with half of the detached screen as dead pixels

Not terrible for $160. For someone who uses a phone for the basics but wants to ensure total protection and epic battery life, this is perfect.
