Umidigi G100 is official with 50 MP main camera, 6,000 mAh battery

Umidigi's latest smartphone is the G100, billed as "a perfect blend of sleek design, immersive display, and smooth performance". It's 8.1 mm thin, and comes with a flat frame because every smartphone these days apparently has to. It will be available in Rock Black, Lake Green, Interstellar Blue, and Starry White.

It has a 6.9-inch display with 120 Hz refresh rate, and it's powered by the Unisoc T615 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The device sports a huge 6,000 mAh battery ensuring plenty of longevity on one charge. And speaking of charging, the phone supports 20W wired top-ups.

The G100 has a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP macro camera, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 16 MP selfie snapper. It also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, AI face unlock, NFC, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and an advertised 200% volume boost compared to "previous models", whichever those may be.

These are all the details Umidigi has revealed right now. Pricing and availability info isn't released yet.

I have been using Umidigi phones for years. Also recently a 10 inch tablet. I have always been impressed by their quality. They're 6,000 amp hour batteries last forever. I wouldn't however like to see them develop more 5G phones. This one...

They need to keep the profit margins, I'm perfectly fine with Unisoc as long as the RAM is high.

What about its display, is it amoled or plain lcd? Screen resolution and nits brightness are important specs for me when buying a new phone.
