Unannounced Nothing Phone and battery pop up in BIS listing

A new, mysterious device by Nothing has made its way onto the Indian BIS certification authority website. The device has a model number A142, which is roughly in line with the existing modeling convention for the Nothing Phone line. The original Nothing Phone is the A063 while the Nothing Phone 2 is the A065. The unannounced smartphone is also joined by a new battery, certified under the NT03 model number.

Information on the new device is still scarce, but another industry leakster recently suggested that Nothing is working on a budget device under the AIN142 model number and the Nothing Phone 2A moniker.

The leak was accompanied by a single blurry image of some sort that seems to depict a familiar Nothing rear panel complete with a Glyph interface.

As for specs, the only rough and unconfirmed details we have so far mention a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and a center-aligned selfie punch hole. There's not much to go on, but we'll be sure to keep you posted.

Nothing should've started their naming convention at zero = Nothing Phone (0) would have been cool

If Nothing really monitored and observed that market then they should have a very competent model under 30K to increase the fanbase and sales.

And also a microSD card slot. They're both still relevant in 2023 and never go out of date.
