Unlocked LG V30 goes on pre-order in the US for $829.99, out on December 5

In the US, the LG V30 is already available from carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon, and has been for a couple of weeks in some cases. But what if you don't want anything to do with any of those companies and would rather purchase an unlocked unit?

Well, if you don't want to go the eBay route and having a US warranty is essential to you (along with no band compatibility issues), then here's some good news and some bad news. The good news is that the unlocked LG V30 for the US market is now officially up for pre-order at B&H (only in Cloud Silver at the moment).

The bad news is two-fold. First off, it's definitely not cheap at $829.99. Second, it will only become available on December 5, and that's a long time from now. Still, if you want to be sure that you're among the first people in the US to grab one of these unlocked models, then by all means pre-order yours as soon as possible.

This is a great device, but it lacks the option of connecting it to a TV and using it as a desktop. Samsung S8+ and Hauwei mate 10 can do this. they need to lower the price for this phone to be more successful...let's say $649.00. Then we are talking...

Guess LG don't care about seriously competing anymore, everything about this is wacky.
