Unlocked Palm phone now available for pre-order in the US
When the Palm brand was resurrected by TCL in October with the Palm phone it was just used as a companion device meant to help you detox from your smartphone usage. Previously, the Palm phone was exclusive to Verizon but now the device is available in a standalone unlocked version which can work autonomously.
Although its spec sheet is not that impressive the Palm phone runs the full Android OS and offers an 8MP selfie cam and 12MP main shooter alongside 32GB storage, GPS and IP68 ruggedness. The skin running on top of Android 8.1 is a nod to the webOS days complete with a full gesture-based navigation UI.
Palm phone in Titanium and Gold
The unlocked Palm phone is available for pre-order in Titanium and Gold colors for $349.00 on Palm’s website.
Those who order their device can expect their Palm phones to ship by August. As an added bonus Palm will throw in free shipping as well as a free leather case with a lanyard. Palm also announced it's working to bring the device to more countries before the end of the year.
