VAIO says no plans to launch Phone Biz in US

Himanshu, 10 February, 2016

VAIO has revealed that it currently has no plans to launch to its newly-announced Phone Biz smartphone in the United States. The revelation was made by the US subsidiary of the erstwhile Sony brand in a tweet.

The Windows-10 powered device, which is apparently aimed at business users, was unveiled by the company earlier this month in Japan. Carrying a $430 price tag, the mid-range phone will go on sale in the Asian country in April.

Specs-wise, the Phone Biz powered by a Snapdragon 617 SoC, and sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display. RAM is 3GB, while internal memory is 16GB, although expandable. It packs in a 2,800mAh battery and features a 13MP/5MP camera combo.
