the ugliest phone i have ever seen...
designer of this phone must have been on crack,
it looks to me this phone has made for rich people who do not have any taste, lets say the Arab lords who own the oil towers...

it's not about the features, it's about the service, a phone and concierge service that will book you a flight to a totally different country by charter at the drop of a hat is worth a trillion quid! all these people wanting 5 mp cameras and walkmans.....go for your standard crappy sony and nokias

I have had the opportunity to have this as a phone for a month.
And I must say, this phone is the biggest waste of money ever made.
It doesn't even look very good.
I mean if Vertu are selling a phone that expensive, it can have at least decent features.
I'm not saying GPS or a bazillion mega pixel camera or something, just something that can make it like its sibling 8800.

i currently work in the docks and am working really hard a forgoing my evenings meals and a few showers just so i can buy this phone. i currently own a nokia 3210 an it was stolen by a homeless guy. now im phoneless and want one of these. apparently if i get this phone i can get anyone i want and will look really rich. anyone know on where to get one, maybe half price or third hand?

This is indeed a nice phone. In fact it's half jewelery. So it should be used as a half jewelery too not a full phone. I believe the rich and famous can buy more than one phone. This phone is just for glamorous thing to match their glamorous stuffs when they are in special occasions or as a collection because it's uniqueness. People buy things not only for it'useful but also there are some that buy for it's unique.
I will buy vertu when I make more than 1 million dollar a year hehe..

well now i have 3 kind of vertu.. one daimond one gold and stainless seel.
well, i hope the designer will create one with white gold and gold mix.. with diamonds and cheetah skin!
i will be the first to buy it if they have!

Look at all you ants running around makin little comments, be real for once, a rich business man/woman won't want this "luxury" phone, it has nothing besides expensive material, features are bad and business people/rich folks want a smartphone, somethin that does everything for them, like:htc touch cruise, touch diamond, tytn2, or nokia n95, n79, n85, e66, e75, e71, thats what rich people want...

Alot of people miss the point of this phone,its a luxury status symbol phone. Hand made ! So even if you had 12k you would have to find one first and its the "it" phone to have this year. Your retarded if you think you could even buy it and then complain about it having no features. People who have it,are very successful to say the least in life and 12k to them is like taking out a 10 dollar bill to buy a combo meal.

Hi. This phone named "Verto" doesnt eaven worth that money , there is a verto phone ( 7 of them are made in the world i think ! ) and it costs 350.000EUROS , IM NOT KIDDING ! , i buy with 200E a N0KIA N95 8gb , and its 1000 TIMES BETTER , and it has 1000 more features ! , I DONT RECOMENT THIS PHONE TO NONE OF U PEOPLE !
