Eric20, 07 Nov 2023Are you able to enable extra LTE bands? No, not that I'm aware of. In Asia and Europe you won't run into issues with missing 4G or 5G bands, but I don't know what the situation in NA is like.

I would recommend people to wait for iQOO 12 as the Launch is not that far away. I bought this phone last phone in July

Got 9hr and 19 min of SOT the other day, charging is very fast, don't be worried about degradation as iQOO uses a 10C battery combined with battery safety technology and immense cooling. The phone is super snappy and the animations are unbeatable, the back camera is an A- it is nice and vibrant and has good hdr. The phone has lte band 20 which is nice to have. The phone has a very nice leather back. I can't really complain tbh with that price. Would 100% take this phone over an iPhone 13 pro max. Gaming performance is superb with nearly no throttlin, the screen is nice and bright with superb colours and all apps can be forced to use 120hz while still utalizing LTPO. Only drawbacks are the front camera and Microphone quality while recording a video (128kbs) and ofcourse Chinese bloatware which you have to spend time to remove. Just use high background power to get notification asap.

JepoyLP, 20 Sep 2023Will be upgrading from Oneplus 8T since the phone got affec... moreI bought the phone ~5 days ago and so far its been fantastic but take this with a grain of salt. Only a long term review could give you a solid idea of how this phone is actually but it only came out in july so its new af.
The charging is insane even without turning on the 200W superfast charge mode and to preserve battery health you'd wanna stay between 20% and 80% either way BUT it almost charges too quickly to allow that. I can confirm that the advertised ~15 minute 0-100 works but sometimes its a couple minutes extra, maybe due to differences in room temperature? not sure.
Origin OS is decent (could be better ofc) and allows you to uninstall most bloatware or disable the notifications from some system bloat apps. Some of them are full of ads/recommendations but you can bypass that by e.g. downloading a custom music player and using the google playstore, a custom browser e.g. firefox with ublock.
The screen is gorgeous, not much to say there, a samsung e6 ltpo panel. TBH I cant say I see like an insane improvement because of the extra pixel per inch but overall in terms of colour Im very happy.
camera is decent, im not a photography guy though so i know nothing about dynamic range and how colours should look in photos but for everyday use and taking a picture here and there its very capable.
The chipset is what you expect from SD 8 gen 2. Running antutu i got 1608664 and 1590000ish in two runs so not too far off from what you can find online and performance is quite smooth. Genshin Impact ran very smoothly as far as I could tell, but i didnt test average FPS or 1%lows ofc.
the only minor complaint i have is whatsapp notifications sometimes (doesnt happen everytime) being ~15 minutes or so late? The push notification thingy that comes preinstalled with the device is not entirely as responsive as I would like but to me personally thats not a huge issue.
Overall I'm very happy upgrading from a one plus 6. Take it with a grain of salt though, its only been a few days.

Will be upgrading from Oneplus 8T since the phone got affected by the dreaded pink line. Is the IQOO 11S a good choice? My other choice is the ACE 2 PRO, though contemplating since the IQOO uses a Samsung panel, and the Ace 2 Pro is using a panel from BOE. Which is a better buy?

My own research findings on Google:
The V2 chip has been replaced with better tech.
Phone will support Wi-Fi 6E and 7 bands.
Give @gsmarena time to update all the new phones specs. They are not robots.
Currently, price of 1 TB version is around 800 euro which is very cheap.
Wait 2–3 months, the phone will be priced around 700 euro. (Not always but mostly :) )
