Mini review : Have the phone for a month now, Funtouch 14 is fine very similar to all the other versions of android from BBK (Oneplus, Realme, Vivo, Oppo, Iqoo). Rear camera's are fantastic, front camera is fine for pictures. Very very fast phone, smooth OS, high brightness screen, Charging, battery life is great. One negative : Selfie cam video limited to 1080p without EIS.
The launcher has room for improvement of course, but you can install any other launcher if you want. I use smart launcher but went back to stock after i found folder widgets. The only thing missing for me is hiding some apps from the drawer (Yes there is a app hiding option, but that functions very differently).
Android Auto works instantly with my MG HS, video and audio playback are great. All notifications arrive on time (unlike most Xiaomi phones). I have had realme GT2 pro, Xiaomi phones, Samsung mid range stuff and some others. This is by far the best quality for money. Amazing photo's, good video's and already 2 software updates since release.
One negative only for me : Selfie video is terrible. But i knew that before buying and i am not a selfie video user. However if you like making selfie video's with the front cam, look for another phone.
- i have the global version from Thailand, cost was 23.500 THB for the 16/512GB. Keep in mind that is less than half the price of the Samsung S24 -

I've owned Iqoo 12 Chinese ROM for 1-1/2 months. Really enjoy this phone. My previous phone was Ultra 21.
Pros: Fast, quick bootup, internet speed, size/weight, screen protector, fast charger 10 - 15 minutes to charge up with 40%.
Cons: Every 2 weeks, the touchscreen is unresponsive. Something has slowed it down completely. Have to reboot. No big deal.
MMS is unavailable with T-Mobile. Cannot send or receive MMS. The built-in SMS is useless, cannot swipe to archive. Downloaded Next SMS but still MMS not sending/receiving. Downloaded Playstore APK - works fine. However, notifications don't work on all apps and most notifications don't show up on the AOD screen.
Overall: $749 for 1TB and 16GB Ram - not bad, pretty good value.

Lots of changes we need on funtouch os 14 .
1 ) Control centre icon are very tiny looking I'm using iqoo 12 big display but icon looks very tiny and font on that looks very small.
2 ) fonts size of call and contact app looks small even if we use Big size fonts in phone
3 ) New icon, definitely we need new icon for new os
4 ) lockscreen customisation directly from lock screen not from phone inside settings. We need lots of customisation on lockscreen like hyper os or iOS
5) big size folder in Home screen like we have in oxygen OS or iOS
6 ) lockscreen widget switch like we have on nothing os 2.5 . We can add widget button for on off wifi Bluetooth and much more
7 ) most important no need of widget in app drower wid can add it directly for home screen. Widget consuming extra space on app drower looks ugly. Please give directly search app bar instead os app and widget
But they don't care they only care about run pubg faster

Vivo funtouch os is very pathetic. No fun using it. Control centre is very old style it has very tiny button on it looks really small in big screen. Fonts looks very small on phone and contact app even if we use big size fonts in phone settings. UI experience is very bad doesn't feel smooth. Older phone like nothing phone 1 feel much smoother in UI and software experience is way better. Even Samsung one UI is good has lots of features on it . There no new ai features. This phone doesn't have any good software features or polish UI experience. Good hardware with bad software

Anonymous, 12 Dec 2023All BBK Brands (oneplus, Vivo, Realme, Oppo) have very limi... moreit's better to buy new phone for every 4 years rather than sticking to 7 year old phone which has useless security updates, software updates, charging the phone for more than an hour having SOT for 6hrs+ and ofcourse looks matters after years.
I would use it as a all rounder with fast charging less than 30mins also providing SOT for 7 hours(if u see the charge/discharge ratio, it's so far better and u come up with the point there will be a battery issue after 3 years, yes I will replace only for less than 30$. Ofcourse u need to change after 3 years without enjoying the charging features), with best gaming performance, best processor of 2023 (SD Gen 3), also with best competitive camera with flagship S23 ultra and the useless 3 years OS/4 years Security updates.
just saying...no offence...
