The fact that Samsung is so big is because they charge fat profit margins on their products. They have been trying so hard to be like Apple, but Apple are just so good at selling dirt at premium prices.

Mi phones are cheap because they gain profit via ads. idk about Vivo but likewise Samsung might have been overpricing stuff since they might be using some state of the art components that doesn't price in any ways cheap. of course, if every phone is made in one factory in China, then you can indeed claim that Samsung overprice their phone.
