Why anyone would want a dedicated mobile display chip, not GPU, is beyond me.

Anonymous, 20 Apr 2021I am in doubt now should I buy the vivo iQOO 7 legend 5g or... moreIf you consider about software ( user interface ) iqoo is disappoint you bcz there is no custom rom for iqoo. Iqoo ui featureless

There is no support from unofficial ( XDA ) .
From Official they are not well considerable

If your priority was flagship spec and if you don't care about UI go for iqoo

Other wise Go for OnePlus 9r

While the iqoo 7 has a great processor that being Qualcomm snapdragon 888, it's 4000 mAh battery leaves much to be desired. You see, any phone with the snapdragon 888 is a top tier premium phone with a high price as well so any 888 based phone including the iqoo 7 should have a battery with at least 5500 mAh with some even having 7000 mAh. You see, putting a 4000 mAh battery in any 888 based phone is like putting the cheapest tires on the most expensive cars.

Ritz 007, 06 Apr 2021Why isn't it mentioned here that the iQOO 7 comes with... moreAlthough the price for Indian variant is on the lower side, there ought to be some trade-offs made. There's a rumour about Vivo skipping 120W fast charging in favour of 66W for the Indian variant. Though given the price, it's still worth it & 66W isn't slow by any means

Is the "Sony IMX598" present of the iQOO 7 better than IMX689 or is it comparatively inferior to the IMX689? Will iQOO 7's Primary Camera be able to match up to OnePlus 9?

Why isn't it mentioned here that the iQOO 7 comes with Dual Stereo Speakers?
It is going to be launching soon in India and what's very surprising is that its said to be priced cheaper than the Chinese Pricing, at under ₹40,000 (conv. $540) which is insanely aggressive!
Though it is sad that they have skimped on the 3.5mm Audio Jack which was present on the iQOO 3.
4K@30fps capability is underwhelming for a flagship
The rest of the phone seems very promising, hope the Primary and Selfie cameras hold up well.

No card... moreIf I remember correctly, you can use other charging bricks to decrease the speed, and also its not about the speed of charging that degrades the battery over time, it's the amount of juice you charge it to... E.g., if you charge it to a 100% it causes 3.5% battery wear, but if you charge it to 80% or less there is 0.1% to no chance of degrading...

Excellent design . But 209 grs for a 4000mah phone? No card slot, no jack 3.5. And 120 w charger will decrease battery lifespan.
