vivo iQOO 7 will come with a pressure-sensitive screen, 120Hz refresh rate
The vivo iQOO 7 will officially arrive on January 11, the gaming branch revealed on Weibo last month. Today we learned the phone will be launched with a pressure-sensitive screen and a new vibration sensing system to enhance the gaming experience. The 120Hz refresh rate was just a rumor until now but today's announcement confirmed this as well.
The iQOO 7 has already appeared in live photos all over the Chinese social network. We also already know it will have a Snapdragon 888 chipset, 120W fast charging (likely reserved for the BMW M Motorsport Pro variant), and enhanced LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Speaking about the pressure-sensitive screen, the feature will be called Monster Touch and will have two zones in landscape mode, left and right, for optimal gaming. This is likely a hardware solution and we are really eager to see how will it work in real life and what applications it might have in different types of mobile games.
Other specs of the phone will be three cameras on the back, an OLED screen, and three different color options, one of them with the typical red and blue stripes of BMW M Motorsport series.
