Former seems better and more optimized for this phone based on forums I've been in. China ROM also gets faster updates as motherland will prioritize it first before global versions. Con of China ROM are the Chinese apps you'll have to uninstall which is very manageable IMO.

                      I got this phone brand new in a sealed box for $320. So far everything is perfect except for the sticky pre applied screen protector. Notification problem of western apps can be easily fixed with some changes in the setting.

                                Indian variant has indian supported bands for their country.

                                Global variant has wide range of bands that can be supported by many countries worldwide.

                                That doesn't necessarily means you can't use those specific variant phone in your country. You need to look into your carrier what network band they support. You can visit kimovil.com to check for network bands and what phone will support in your country without facing any network issue.

                                Then the few differences is you get their local apps in those variant i.e Chinese variant have Chinese apps pre installed.

                                  Can anyone tell me the difference between IQOO Neo 9 China ROM & Indian ROM. I am totally new for this "China ROM vs Indian ROM". Any kind of help would be appreciated :)

                                        genius, 18 Mar 2024same here. want global rom. chinese writng and non google a... moreThere's no forum for this phone for any kind of technical support i.e. XDA, moreover you won't find any tool and stock rom for this phone just in case you brick your phone or some bad software update corrupt it. although it's a great device but I skipped it. Personally no hate for this device just I'm feeling insecure.
