Guy,s pls help. I have exchange my moto edge 50 pro for iqoo z9 turbo for performance issue yesterday. So far z9 turbo looks good but the 6000mah battery is draining too fast compare to edge 50 pro,s 4600mah battery. Pls suggest how to optimise.

Bought this Z9 turbo fella for three reasons: speed, connectivity and battery. Got it all and it performs fantastic. Chinese rom is also not a problem and can be easily debloated with ADB.
Camera is not Huawei Pro and screen is not Oppo Find X but unless one is a photo profi and not decor obsessed this is fabulous. The speed is equal to S23, no lagging, no problem whatsoever.
For 283 euros this is a kill.

The, 20 Aug 2024This phone has better performance than the Samsung A55(Snap... moreCamera's is situational. For video recording, IQoo wins, since it has 4k@60fps, while Samsung, has only 4k@30fps. (Both based on GSMarena), later on, the OIS on IQoo is better. While for the selfie camera, it's obvious Samsung is better on both Photo's and Video Recording. The front camera are good on both phones.

This phone also have a bigger battery and faster charging speed compared to the Samsung A55(6000mah and 80w charging for the IQOO and 5000mah and 25w for the Samsung)
This phone also got more RAM and storage compared to the Samsung(12-16GB of RAM and 256-512GB of storage for the IQOO,6-12GB of RAM and 128-256GB of storage for the Samsung.Oh and the Samsung also supports a hybrid SD Card Slot,while the IQOO doesn't support it.)
In terms of protection,the Samsung wins because it support an IP67 water resistant rating and a Gorrila Glass Victus on the front(not sure whats the Gorrila Glass used for the back panel but at least it's there)
Meanwhile the IQOO only supports an IP64 water resistant rating(its not waterproof like the IP67 so dont dip the phone in the water)and no Gorrila Glass at all.Maybe it's got another type of glass protection but I'm not sure what it is.
For the cameras,well.Its too obvious that the Samsung wins, it's a true all rounder phone because of the performance,cameras and software support.While the IQOO is made to be a budget gaming phone.Thats why the chipset is more powerful than the Samsung but the camera is way worse.
Speaking of software support,the Samsung A55 wins because it supports up to 4 years of Android updates(until Android 18 I guess)and 5 years of security updates
Now im not sure how many Android updates will the IQOO Z9 Turbo will have but it might be 2 or 3 years of Android update and 3 or 4 years of security updates.
And the price.Depends on where you live but im sure that the Samsung A55 is more expensive because you know,SAMSUNG.
And the IQOO Z9 Turbo should be cheaper than the Samsung only because it's a China only release.Like I said,it depends on where you live but if the IQOO Z9 Turbo is sold in your country,then you got the chance to own a really sick and cheap gaming phone.

Had bad experience with chinese oneplus phones b4, no regret after getting iqoo . works well with google installed.
