vivo S50 Pro mini to use a Snapdragon chipset, rumor claims
There’s more news about vivo’s upcoming S50 series, which is expected to include the S50 and S50 Pro mini. The phones will succeed the S30 lineup that was announced in May this year.
According to a new rumor, the vivo S50 Pro mini variant will not use a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, but will instead be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC.
Like its predecessor, the S50 Pro mini will also be a compact flagship. It is rumored to get a 6.31-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution and a battery larger than the vivo X300, which packs a 6,040mAh cell.
Recent rumors suggest that the standard vivo S50 will sport a 6.59-inch display and a metal frame. It is also said to come with a periscope telephoto camera.
The vivo S30 Pro mini was launched globally as the vivo X200 FE, so it’s likely that the S50 Pro mini could debut as the X300 FE.

Yes, but if it goes global, it won't have mini in the name. It will be called the X300 FE. Do you see the word mini being used? No.

It might as the vivo X300 FE. So no mini in the name. Happy? Don't dismiss a phone just because of the name.
