vivo S5 name confirmed in new sweet teaser

Last week we spotted a smartphone in the hands of a vivo ambassador, and the device had an unusual setup with four cameras, lined up in a diamond shape. Today the vivo account on Weibo posted a short teaser, revealing the already rumored name of the upcoming device - vivo S5.

The tagline of the device is roughly translated as “Illuminate your beauty” and given the vivo S1 and vivo S1 Pro were photo-centric, it is highly likely the vivo S5 will also be a smartphone for people who take plenty of selfies and portrait shots.

At this point there are no specs whatsoever, but we expect a midrange chipset and the 64 MP main camera that vivo has already put in the NEX 3. One thing that we are sure is the back panel will have all kinds of fancy colors - after all the vivo S1 lineup was sold in Love Blue, Coral Red, Midsummer Dream, and Cherry Pink.
