vivo shows off the glassy new look of OriginOS 6

vivo continues teasing OriginOS 6. Key improvements are new AI features, smoother UI animations, improvements to the animated island around the front camera punch hole and a new style for the user interface. Watch the video and tell us if it seems familiar:

It looks very glass-like, doesn’t it? Well, vivo might actually call it water instead of glass as that is more on brand for vivo. Still, the translucent UI elements and blurred background have recently become more popular with the arrival of iOS 26.

OriginOS 6 has a new translucent look

vivo plans to launch OriginOS globally on October 15 and it has already announced an OriginOS 6 Preview Program for the Android 16 updates for vivo and iQOO phones.
