      About gorilla glass

Anonymous, 05 Mar 2025Is there will be charger provided in box?Yes

Well here's my review of using this device for 3 months. Got the 8 + 256gb variant and I use it at 30-40% brightness along with 60Hz screen refresh rate.

Please kindly ignore the grammatical mistakes.

          1) Looks, impression and build quality:

An impressive 8/10 if I in the most simple and lazy way.

I got the blue colour and it's absolutely gorgeous along with a nice feel in my hands without cover. The original silicon cover provided in box is a decent but it got problem, it's loose fitted, slippery and turns yellow way too fast depending on device's thermals which depends on how you use the device.

As for built quality; it suffered three or four falls till now from 60 cm height on average and one time my nephew stupidly kicked it on cemented floor. Thankfully it didn't even suffered even a single minor or overserable scratch, I guess the military rating it doing it's job perfectly fine(or I'm just lucky).

          2) Software, UI and Camera: 7/10.

I don't understand why you guys always cry so hard when it comes to Funtouch OS, sure it got bloatwares but it doesn't take more than 10 minutes at best(in case you are clueless on what to disable) to clear bloatwares and notifications.

Yes, I'm using the Funtouch OS and don't see any problem aside from ads which are bearable, I don't even scroll to sections which got ads so I'm fine.

But the problem is some feature which i think is missing; Wallpaper preview.

Switching from Samsung's Galaxy J7 OS which was running/based on Android 9(I don't know the correct term) It got more features to enjoy especially the AI eraser which i find usefull for cleaning text on wallpaper worthy images, I just found it really infuriating that i can't see wallpaper previews on home and lock screen. The software also doesn't scale the images properly to the size of screen in some images when set as wallpaper.

Aside this, I guess it would have been better if the system also allow to change app icons Without third part software.

As for camera, it's decent. Well I'm not much of a camera person and barely uses camera aside from document mode so it doesn't bother me. But I'll drop some images so you guys can judge it for yourself.

          3) Screen and speaker:

The screen is quite good but feels lacking when displaying minimalist style flat toned colors aside from white, black and RGB but you probably don't feel it unless you read stories/comics or prefer minimalist wallpapers in other shades. In this case there's barely noticeable blur which just doesn't fit right with the device screen size but I guess I'm being picky since I switched from SUPER AMOLED and that's the classy difference between LCD vs AMOLED. Overall 8/10 yet 9/10 while watching vedios that contains a broad varients of flashy colors aka animations/anime or cinematic vedios.

As for speakers, they are a bit lacking. If you are a in public space they are decent for listening to vedios but won't give a good hearing unless the sound volume is 200% or 400% which is annoying to listen actually.

If you are in your room and there's no background noise(aka your family members shouting at each other while you are chilling in your room) they are good at best 7/10. Nothing more nothing less.

In the end speakers are 6/10, i don't know about other earphones but I'm using Xiaomi type C earphones which are 600₹ and the experience is next level. 9/10

          4) Gaming, Battery, thermals and performance: 9/10

The battery is solid, easily last for more than a day while only taking almost one hour(+/- 20 mins) to charge even when throwing heavy games at High quality for hours.

On average it charges 1% of battery per minute(actually slightly faster) when device is at medium charge level then slow down after 80-85%.

Within the first month, i use to charge it up to 85-90% which could provide 4 hours of gameplay on high quality to war thunder/same quality fps games + 3 hours of doom scrolling + 2 hours of genshin impact at low quality 30fps and i Still have 30-38% of battery left by 4 am of next day.

The thermals are decent, it barely heat while running genshin impact but for playing other games or downloading large files it heats way too fast especially if the back side is blocked.

Call of duty mobile runs quite well at mid graphics + high frame rate without any heating for around 1.5hrs. On high graphics it becomes heated withen the first few minutes of match.

The device can also run wuthering waves at quality level graphics at 30fps with battery drain of about 25% per hour but do note that the device will become a mini sun the moment you open the game so i recommend attaching a cooler.(Quality graphics are highest, although I don't know whether the game adjust graphics' max quality according to device)

As for reading ebooks, i believe the SoT can reach continous 1.5 days worth of time on a single charge of 85% if you are reading it through connection on chrome or through other app. (Mine lasted 2 days on single charge with 10hrs of Sot each day in this scenario.)

Now on performance, there's no problem even if you have 5-7 background apps running, the system is smooth as ice, it will be slightly laggy only if you have just exited some heavy app other than that no problem.
Although I have no idea why the device takes 8.2 to 8.6 gb of ram when VRAM is enabled, other than that every thing if chef kiss about this phone.

          Cons:

Speakers are 6/10, if you are listening to music than volume is just meh barely enjoyable. You need to plug in or connect earphones.

Wifi Connectivity: Honestly I have no idea whether it's the jio fibre which has shit connectivity in my area or it's the phone's issue. When I was using Galaxy J7 i didn't have much problem connecting to wifi but this T4x feels like it just don't wanna connect to wifi as if it got it's own mood.

Well my room is furthest from the router so wifi signals are weak yet my dad's ThinkPad L540 laptop and galaxy J7 didn't have much problem connecting to it and run 720p on yt but this device just don't even acknowledge the Wifi signals.

TLDR: If you are targeting performance and don't care about camera in 15k range, then it's one of best choice. The only drawback as far as I have noticed is speakers and wifi connectivity.

Design only looks vaguely the same but screen size and resoultion are all different
            4G vs 5G, missing Wifi 6
CPU is half as powerful and it's ufs 3.1 vs emmc

IQOO Z10x 5G, Vivo Y29 4G, and Vivo T4x 5G, three of these are the same phone with same design and almost the same specs. the only big difference is the Z10x and T4x has Dimensity 7300 while Y29 has Snapdragon 685.

              T4x - India

ive bought it. while my friend bought realme p3. my reasoning for buying this phone is it has dc dimming and no pwm dimming and it passed TUV certification when its on eyesaver mode. I don't want headache over prolonged use so I bought this.
                pros-
-got sot of 16hr on 60hz mode with media consumptions from full charge.
-camera is surprisingly better on daylight and it have gcam support.
-display have surprisingly good blacks in medium to high brightness.
-adequate performance for day to day usage.
-no bugs are faced from stock rom.
-15min charging got me 5hr sot
                - the phone looks good though I don't care as I put case for it.

                cons
-bulky due to camera bump, heavy with case, huge for one handed use,
-the volume level with slider is not proportional. though sound is average with no bass.
-low light camera photos will have motion blur. 60fps only available on 720p, and not on 1080p nor 4k
-due to notification light on back. it seems useless because i dont put phone screen on ground.
-by no means performance of 7300 bad. but still prefer 6gen4 over this. may be im biased.
                -only ip64.
                - at lowest brightness blacks become greyish. maybe its lowering brightness on software than hardware.
                - non removable and cant disable vivo core apps. well I cam from custom rom so? its kind of eyesore on app drawer.
-max file transfere speed is ~330MB/s. i thought ufs3.1 is more faster.

overall a nice phone with good battery backup. no greenline chance. though I need time to get used to its size and weight as my hands are in pain for a few hours of use. enough camera for most daylight situations. 17.5k for 256gb variant and 2yr warranty with 1yr spill and accident cover on vivo store. though I think 15.5k for z10x at launch is way better. but with new phone that have more problems after updates now days. I bought at extra 2k for those warranties.

verdict - go for realme p3 if you don't care about pwm dimming or so.it has amoled display, ip69, minimal camera bump and snapdragon processor. though I don't know about their software situation as they spew more phones with same hardware with small changes.

People are actually right for once, removal of some functions aren't justified

This just the Vivo T3x/iQOO Z9x with a slight change in soc but without sd card and 3.5mm. They even kept the same ips lcd screen and thick bezels

Yup, market ... moreUmm it's not waterproof, it's just water resistant (splashes, which means not dipping your phone in water)! So giving 3.5mm jack could have been easily possible! Making phone waterproof doesnt work like that! As per your logic, even charging socket shouldn't exist since they want to make phone waterproof!

Good specs for people preferring LCD phones. Chipset is decent & battery life should be good. My only issue is with absence of secondary noise cancellation mic. In traffic & noisy outdoors secondary mic is required. Even cheaper phones have it - I wonder about the reason for it's absence.
