vivo V20 Pro 5G officially launches in India on December 2

Vlad, 26 November 2020

vivo announced and released the V20 Pro in late September, but not in India. This shortcoming of the phone is due to be rectified very soon. We've already known that the V20 Pro would hit the subcontinent sometime in early December, and today the Chinese company has decided to announce the actual date of the unveiling: December 2.

The official confirmation is good to have, of course. If you're wondering what to expect, the vivo V20 Pro (which will apparently have the "5G" suffix in India, going by the teaser image in the tweet above) sports a 6.44" FHD+ AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner but no high refresh rate action sadly.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 765G chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of non-expandable storage. On the back there's a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 2 MP depth sensor, while on the front you get a 44 MP main selfie snapper as well as an 8 MP ultrawide.

The vivo V20 Pro has a 4,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging and runs Android 10 with Funtouch 11 on top.
