vivo V30 review
Competition
As is usually the case with vivo smartphones, they tend to be more expensive than their direct competitors. Still, the V30 this year stands out with exceptional all-around camera performance, unmatched battery life, and a competitive display solution. So, its higher price tag can be justified. Considering what the competition has to offer, often for a smaller price tag, won't hurt, though.
One of the first INR 30,000+ options to come to mind is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+. It's an excellent all-rounder with a comparable display, faster charging and a set of decent stereo speakers, unlike the V30, which has a single, bottom-firing speaker. Aside from that, and your potential software preferences, the vivo V30 makes a stronger case for itself with better all-round camera performance (albeit the main cameras' quality is comparable) and much longer battery life.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ • Realme 12 Pro+ • OnePlus Nord 3
Another similarly priced alternative is the Realme 12 Pro+, but it falls short of the V30 in most aspects. Vivo's solution runs for longer away from the charger, has a nicer display and takes better photos. The Realme 12 Pro+'s advantage lies within its telephoto camera and stereo loudspeakers.
The OnePlus Nord 3 is a worthy competitor with a similar feature set, faster charging, more powerful chipset, but less potent cameras and shorter battery life. It's also considerably cheaper, though, which isn't a small feat.
Verdict
The vivo V30 may be a bit expensive for its class, but it definitely punches above its weight. The handset impresses with exceptional camera performance and unmatched battery life. The display, chipset, and charging are also quite competitive, although they are not part of the device's standout features.
All in all, we can only think of just two drawbacks - the lack of stereo speakers and the relatively high price tag. Aside from that, the V30 is an excellent all-rounder with marginal drawbacks.

My phone broke, should I get the vivo v30? Main priority is Camera (I take pics frequently so I need something good) and gaming (genshin, ZZZ,) and emulation (psp, ps2, gamecube, switch)
