Maybe they added it for some region just for the sake of better advertisement?

This is a good phone ruined by a mono speaker, and awful haptics comparable to low-end phones.

If the cheaper Y100 and Y28 can have stereo speakers, why can't this one? Vivo's cost-cutting measures don't make sense.

I wonder why Vivo decided to add the classic 2MP sensor on some regions, good thing the Philippines doesn't have that repetitive bullshit as we instead have the good dual 50 MP cameras

shifted from galaxy a24 to this device, thinking of having a jitter free experience..but this device of has jitters in it's ui (probably more than a24 which is way more cheap) which is not acceptable in this price range. although the camera is amazing.

The V30 although it can game, it can also do other things good, like you said, it have an amazing camera setup. I remember the first time I took a picture with this phone, I was stunned by how beautiful the image is.

I bought this one on holiday because in Indonesia u need to subscribe you Imei number so i bought this phone. I already use x90 pro+ with Vivo Note. I am a normal user only foto, music whatsapp en phonecalls. I am not a gamer like people here. If u want to play game buy IQOO 12 instead a normal phone. Beside that V30 is a good value phone with beautifull camera. I am not a professional so clear photo's is enough for me. The battery is good from morning untill i get home still full. So please gamers if u complain about warmth of the phone then u bought the wrong phone because this phone isnt for playing games but IQOO 12 is made for games.

From my experience. It does get warm if you are using it heavily (especially gaming) in warm places or anywhere outside the AC and with 4G-5G. But as I mentioned, it is no where near burning your hands off. If you were to use it indoors and with Wi-Fi though, it stays cool pretty much all the time.

I saw a video comparing this phone the new a55 and that's when i knew it gets warm during long gaming sessions.

SID, 04 Jun 2024Share your detailed personal experience review ... pros and... moreFirstly, sorry for any grammar errors, English is not my first language.

Been using it for about a week now. I am a little bit of everything when it comes to using the phone. Gaming, socials, photos and general usage.

So far, I love it. The Funtouch UI is very smooth and there are no noticable slow downs or hiccups that I can notice. Heat management is good too. I live in a hot country (avg. 30-35c) and even when I game heavily, the temp doesn't really go up that much. Don't get me wrong though, it does get warm, but it is far from burning your hands. Oh and in terms of gaming performance, it is pretty decent.

The battery life is amazing, I can get through a whole day with around 25-30% left before I get it on charge. And with that 80W fast charge, I can pretty much charge it, go take a shower and do some choirs, come back and boom, it's already full.

The cameras are nice and natural and I love the Aura Light system. Haven't use much of it though so that's pretty much all I can say about that.

Now, the speakers... This is pretty much the only downside of this phone so far. I anticipated not having stereos speaker before getting this phone and thought that it wouldn't be that big of a deal, but boy does it get you when you hear it for yourself. It is a loud single speaker that's for sure, but yeah... A real bummer.

Overall, for its price, aside from the single-speaker setup, it is a very good mid-range lad.

Xiaomi is the king of color saturation with its cameras. Expect also much better battery life as the is one of the best phones I have owned in terms of outstanding standby times and barely loses juice on idle unlike my Poco X6 Pro which drains a lot of juice even on idle.

Its like saying that NVMe PCIe 3 will slow down after some time unlike NVMe PCIe 4 on a laptop or desktop PC. The analogy of some is ridiculous because flash-based storage will last and perform well as long as the phone is still working. This is no longer the age eMMC storage of old. Don't be fooled by benchmarks because practically no one transfers large files to and from their phones daily. Your phone will be smooth and reliable even after 3-4 years and by that time you will most likely upgrade your phone anyway.

vee, 28 May 2024does v30 compete with these mentioned phones in performance... moreDefinitely. The SD7 Gen3 is better than the Dimensity chips in its class and is more optimized with a lot of games since it uses a Qualcomm SoC. UFS storage is a bit slower but the difference can only be felt with loading times and barely affects FPS in actual game play.

In day to day usage, the V30 is smooth and lag-free. No complaints here.
