Mercedes once tried to design a car for the middle class with their signature features, and it failed spectacularly. Why? Because it diluted their premium image. Now, let me ask the same about Vivo: if the Vivo V40 series offers the same Zeiss portrait features with an even better lens, why would anyone opt for the Vivo X100 flagship with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage? Especially if they're not into gaming and use their phone solely for photography? What's the point of calling it a flagship if mid-range models can match or even outperform it in the core feature that matters most—photography? Is Vivo just charging a premium for a shiny label?

I don't think is there any difference between vivo v40e and v40 it's only 1lac antutu difference moreover the difference between display cant seen by eyes

Hi all,
I recently bought this phone the 8GB + 256GB variant. I find the performance to be laggy compared to my Motorola Edge 30 and Oppo Reno.
This is especially noticeable in the Camera App. It takes a good 5 seconds to launch the camera and click a picture. Is this normal?

Does this phone recommended for long term use like 3-4 years? I occasionally use camera but kind of often play games like genshin, wuwa or roblox. V50 with 6.5k mAh is coming so I'm ready might buy for best long lasting battery but it's shame they make it smaller 6.67inch :/

You might want to visit a Vivo retail store, seek out a demo V40 unit and check for yourself whether or not it has eSIM support in the Settings.
