vivo V40 Pro chipset revealed on Geekbench
The vivo V40 Pro is expected to arrive soon, as the phone appeared on multiple certification websites from regulators all over the world. The latest confirmation of the phone comes from the Bluetooth SIG website, which listed the V2347 model number.
The same device also appeared on Geekbench, revealing key details about the phone, including its chipset, RAM option and Android version.
The vivo V40 Pro will have a Dimensity 9200+ platform, as evident in the Geekbench CPU information. The phone will have a 1x core @ 3.35 GHz + 3x cores @ 3.0 GHz + 4x cores @ 2.0 GHz, which is exactly the same combo on the Mediatek SoC.
The phone will have an 8 GB RAM option and will ship with Android 14, likely with Funtouch 14 on top. We expect the V40 Pro to be similar to the S19 Pro, available in China, since vivo often launches its S series phone under the V family on the international scene.
If this is the case, we expect a phone with a 6.78” AMOLED, three cameras on the back, an ultra-thin body and a 5,500 mAh battery with 80W fast wired charging. We'll know more once the vivo V40 Pro arrives officially, which should be in the following weeks.
