vivo V40e arrives with sleek design and Dimensity 7300
As expected, vivo announced its V40e in India today. The new device follows the design language of the V40 and V40 Pro with a curved 6.67-inch OLED screen and a dual-camera setup on the back with vivo’s Aura Light portrait system.
V40e is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage which does not support expansion.
The display features FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits peak brightness. You also get a 50MP selfie cam with eye autofocus.
The back houses a 50MP (IMX882) main cam with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens.
The software front is covered by FuntouchOS 14 based on Android 14 and vivo pledges 3 years of Android version updates and 4 years of security patches. Rounding out the spec sheet is a 5,500 mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
Vivo V40e comes in Mint Green and Royal Bronze colors. Pricing in India starts at INR 28,999 ($347) for the 8/128GB trim and goes up to INR 30,999 ($370) for the 8/256GB version.
The V40e is already on pre-order from vivo’s online store and partnering retailers. Open sales are scheduled for October 2.
