vivo V50 is reportedly coming to India next month with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3

vivo has multiple V50 models in flight and one of them will be landing in India. It’s the vivo V50 that we saw photographed by the NCC and it might be alone – it won’t be followed by the V50e, V50 Pro or whatever.

The vivo V50 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, claims leakster Abhishek Yadav. The phone will be available in several memory configurations: 8/128GB, 8/256GB and 12/512GB.

As discussed previously, the V50 bears a striking resemblance to the vivo S20, which indeed uses the 7 Gen 3 chip. Actually, the V30 and V40 used the same chip too. The NCC photos revealed a 6,000mAh battery and a 90W charger. Based on the S20, we can expect a 6.67” OLED display (120Hz, 1260p+), a 50+8MP camera and basic water resistance.

The vivo V50 will be available in four colors: Blue, Rose, Red and Gray. A February launch seems likely.

but vivo s20 atill has ufs 2.2.. what's the point of a powerful chip if the storage speeds are of 2020..

Er... but you are aware that 7Gen3 is still more powerful than Snapdragon 870? A SoC should be powerful and capable, right? Why should launch age even matter? And to added advantage, as its normally considered a midranger, sometimes it gets pair...
