vivo V60e to launch in India with 200MP camera, 6,500 mAh battery
vivo has confirmed the launch of the V60e in India, though the exact date remains undisclosed. The company has also shared key specifications, design highlights, and pricing details of the device.
The vivo V60e will be the first in the V-series to offer a 200MP main rear camera with OIS. It will also feature an 8MP ultrawide camera at the back. For selfies and video calling, the phone will pack a 50MP camera with autofocus. The handset will also offer 30x digital zoom using the main camera.
Earlier today, vivo revealed that it will launch a new Y500 Pro in China with a 200MP camera. It appears that the V60e could be a rebranded Y500 Pro.
Meanwhile, the vivo V60e will offer an India-focussed AI photography feature called AI Festival Portrait. It will also come with other AI-backed features called AI Image Expander and AI Four-season Portrait.
The phone will offer a quad-curved display with slim bezels and pack a 6,500 mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. vivo also confirms that the phone will run FuntouchOS 15 based on Android 15 and offer Gemini features. It will support three years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches.

The vivo V60e will be available in Elite Purple and Noble Gold colors. It also gets an IP68/IP69 rating and will be priced under INR 40,000 ($450) in India.

This phone is twice as expensive as the HMD Skyline (a phone consistently bashed upon by this website's commentators and tone-deaf reviewers for being "overpriced"), yet has worse specifications in comparison. The irony.
