Just bought it on March 30
I'm using Galaxy Note 5 as my main, Mi 5, Redmi Note 4x (former), Redmi Note 3 Pro (former), Redmi 3 (former)
In Indonesia, it using SD450, 13MP + 2MP rear camera, others still the same
Price : IDR 4.000K (around USD 280)
On the box : Charger, USB cable, earphone, silicone case, Warranty Card and Quick start guide card, SIM ejector, screen protector (installed)
Pros :
- complete in-box feature
- glamorius look-alike (19;9 with notch become eye of interest in public)
- triple slot tray (2 nano SIM + SD card tray)
- much feature on Funtouch OS 4.0
- very good front camera (I like the HDR and AI mode)
- good battery performance
- good fingerptint sensor, fast face unlock mode
- OS supporting till Android P (rumored)
Cons :
- plastic body, also fingerptint magnet (use silicone case to resolve this)
- no gorilla glass screen
- standart rear camera (bokeh feature just a gimmick)
- bad performance in 3D (others I think acceptable)
- bloatware included (some of them can't be removed)
Overpriced? it's relative
but, IMHO it's worth to buy, with much feature, 19:9 with notch, great front camera (especially for selfie user)
if you compare by on-paper specs (mostly with the X brand), it's not worth to buy, I'm also X brand and S brand user
overprice statement depends on your segmentation
I think Vivo made a right decision to use SD450, because it will lower the price and place it on mid-ranged smartphone with much feature (which have a good segmentation)
but no gorilla glass and standard rear camera is a big no for me (since their tagline is perfect shot)

how can I consider it is owesome: No NFC and not support full bluetooth profiles, even not recognized Plantronics voyager legend. MTK Soc Handsets are lower DSP specs, that why
Indian cellular operators are complaint on Builders who are made MTK Soc handsets due to
download and upload lowering the signal strength than broadcost.
These china companies more implement to withstand indian market. NFC, Full bluetooth profiles support and good DSP capability modem should place on their handsets. Even though Xiaomi should support NFC and Full bluetooth profiles in their hand sets

Already launch in Indonesia, by the end of March, slightly degraded processor, and yet still very compelling device. Market seems responded positively. Around IDR4000K.

not bad looking is good but processing speed is not good its slow working not a quick response.
i don't think so its original 4gb ram because its processing speed is too week as Compare to any latest technology phone so I'm not satisfied this device.

Where as in India where there is fierce competition in the mobile phone segment they are providing better speced SD626 for same money. Actually here with Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro available, nobody will even look at V9.

Performance of Mediatek helio P60 is similar with series SD8xx or less but more than or similar with series SD6xx. So Vivo V9 is not much better with Oppo F5 compared with their processor. They win with just "dual cameras" and 24MP fromt camera. Pixel density of Vivo V9 is still lost againts oppo f5 eventho the display resolution is higher than oppo f5.

Seriously Vivo Indonesia, why the hell did you give us Vivo V9 with SD450 chipset instead of SD626? And US$300 for the underpowered chipset and over-advertising of this product?? I hope you get bankrupt from our country soon
