Also the processing could be worse than the snapdragon counterpart. I don't think this is THAT good coming from an S23 Ultra, just use gcam and if the S23 Ultra's gcam ports are as good as my S22 Ultra's then I'd say you're gonna get the best photos on a phone.

Well this one looks gruesome with that camera.
For a selfie fans Oneplus 12 looks arguably better.
if Xiaomi 14 ultra will not come with somethig tottaly unique i think best flagships of the year 2024 been chosen well to represent the phone industry.
For whats been leaked by now its very clear Samsung and Apple will grab the tail of the winners of best phone of the year 2024.

Vivo is doing good but they need to upgrade selfie camera to 4k recording after all that phone is good not bad at this price range and the second thing is mediatek 9300 chips etc that's untutu score is nearly 2181300 points that's incredible in that price range ....😀😀

Being able to see yourself in high quality is a hell of a drug and is definitely great, for example, taking progress videos of your fitness journey or just taking some cool looking body shots which are easy to set up and take with the front camera due to the display.
I get your point tho, 4K video DOES seem overkill for normies but hey man, getting what you pay for AND it's another way you get value from your purchase

The 10x shots are great for someone like me who likes taking shots of things far away, to have a different perspective or just for fun. Having more options is NEVER bad. The 10x lens is something you might not use much but when you have to use it, you're relieved and happy that you have it. That's an extremely important pro to have for a phone costing close to or above $1000 imo
But yeah, that guy was on some crack, this phone has a 4.3x zoom and has a 50 MP sensor so you can decent or even great ~9-ish zoom shots, I'd wager they'd be as good as or even better than Samsung's 10x shots 😂😂

I can't buy a phone with a poor selfie camera for THIS price. If it were a midranger, sure, but this is not. 4K video quality with actually good optics instead of the mid ones used by Chinese manufacturers would persuade me to actually go for one of their phones. Just think about it, you're the photo taker for all your family but when it comes to selfies yours is not better than their $300 phone? That's embarrassing and I'd wager, a poor way of spending money on a phone for someone who wants a "complete" package.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE these phones and their rear cameras, if they fixed their selfie cameras I would not hesitate one bit to upgrade to them as my next phones, if they're available globally of course.

If you want a 1 inch sensor then go for the X90 Pro+, Find X6 Pro or Xiaomi 13 Ultra yk, I'd suggest waiting for the next gen of the 1 inch sensor. Seems like it'd be a banger along with Vivo's Zeiss Natural mode
