vivo X100 series tipped to debut with LPDDR5T DRAM

The next iteration in the vivo X-series is expected to debut soon and a new Weibo post from a reliable tipster which was also confirmed to us by an insider suggests all devices in the X100 series will bring the fastest available DRAM on the market. LPDDR5T which stands for Low Power Double Data Rate 5 Turbo offers up to 9.6 Gbps operating speeds which is 12.5% faster than LPDDR5X DRAM found on most current flagships.

The X100 which should consist of the X100, X100 Pro and X100 Pro+ will see both of the top-end flagship chipsets – MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9300 and Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with the Dimensity version boasting support for the new LPDDR5T DRAM standard. All vivo X100 phones are expected to launch with support for UFS 4.0 storage.
