08XI, 21 Dec 2024yes because it's SI/C battery not Li-IonUhm it also very thick at 8.2mm versus 7.2 like something like the S25.

    An Honest user review:

I had this mobile for 2 months now, but I had to sell it due to financial issues. Let me briefy experience.

    Pros.

Design and build quality are superb
Size is good exact size as iphone 15 pro
    Grip is great
    Performance is not questionable
    No overheating at all
    Unbelievable battery
No software glitches (vivo pushed around 4 updates)
Camera is astonishing in every condition smashes my past iphone 15 plus easily
Speakers sound is good & no problem in calls

    Cons (personal opinio)
The screen is ok but not great (no dolby vision support really limited the experience - i have an old moto edge 40 looks more vivid and live

The pre-installed screen protector is very bad - changed

There is no protection on back camera island - got scratches easily

The audio outuput quality through Bluetooth is limited, i bought nothing 2A buds, feels miles better on an old Xperia XZ premium due to the lack high audio res support, really disappointing, the ouptut is very low also.

Conclusion: its a great phone I regret selling it but i had to, but if your main focus is display & audio this phone not for you, thanks

Mini branding these days are still too large.

Please release this phone globally maybe as a flagship killer with exact same specs...just downgrade cpu and gpu like snapdragon 8s series or 7 plus series...it would be the most selling flagship killer in vivo history..hope vivo ceo has good ability of thinking people's expectations..no matter its price....please produce phones for value, not for money margined..love vivo...expecting this as V50 pro mini... with same back design....

The best phone currently available(period). --even though I would prefer no sharp edges. (bezelless)(bulletproof glass --aluminium alloy)(atomic battery --based on radioactivity)

08XI, 21 Dec 2024yes because it's SI/C battery not Li-IonSi/C Battery is a Li-Ion Battery bro. It's just a different types of Li-Ion Battery that instead of using graphite based material /anode, it's using silicon based material/anode

this is the perfect compact phone for those who want a small phone, it’s fast, has great battery, great cameras, great software, great nearly everything

No 3.5mm jack = No need to buy

Almost perfect. Then, you see the USB C 2.0 because I like to transfer RAW (DNG) files between my laptop USB C 3.2 and phone (S24). Was thinking about this due to the nice 70mm lens and almost similar size, and the fast charging. Too bad (on my end), it's not that it is a bad product.

                              I wish this had eSIM

Harry X, 05 Dec 2024How is a phone called a mini when it's over 6 inches. ... moreAs a Dimensity 9300+ user, I can confirm that Dimensity 9000 series chips are BEASTS.

Heck, the 9300+ has more raw power than the SD 8 Gen 3.

I have never ever seen a complaint regarding image processing of Mediatek phone even with GSMArena. Are you an authority in mobile photography? If you aren't then it must be personal preference more than anything else. I don't really see your point sorry.

Anonymous, 08 Dec 2024But the color science/image processing is still whack for s... moreThis age has seen the best of both worlds as far as computing power of mobiles are concerned. SD Elite and MTK Dimensity 9400 are neck-to-neck when it comes to performance and the difference in actual use is negligible as both have their own strengths. Saying that one is better than the other is subjective but throwing insults to a processor just because it is not from Qualcomm is ridiculous. We all have our own preferences and you just need to respect others' likes and dislikes.
