Gimbal is not very good on average photography but it does make sense that the camera can be a lot distracting while shaking and not being able enough for 5axis” eis is a very important feature for me in the phones of ui photos need to make manually shooting instead of automatic camera ui then the best camera im choosing is sony brand better photography fully manually capturing but for me normal user vivo is the best auto camera with carl zeis lens.

Xiaomi's "Leica" lenses do have issues with specular highlights - a problem which is very well known - for ages. My 13T Pro does show the same issue, just go to a castle near you, take pictures via avialable light, from a chandelier...the separate lights are being blown out via Xiaomi, not so with Vivo. They handle these lights much better. Same for street lamps & lights, when doing night photography. I have Xiaomi phones since the Redmi Note 3 - you can't tell me B$.
Xiaomi needs to upgrade the lens coatings, and to update their processing, for pictures like that. I also do have flare into night pictures via light sources, which i don't have, or reduced, with other phone brands.

ciggsaftrcryi, 19 Apr 2025Also, how do you call a 1" sensor and f/1.6-f/4.0 &quo... moreBecause real gear with that Sensor size goes from aperture (physically) like the lens is. You can use the RX100 VA for instance from aperture F/1.8 stop down to F/11. Albeit without Pixel Binning, because it's a BSI tech Exmor R5 20.1 MP Sensor.

ciggsaftrcryi, 18 Apr 2025People only buy vivo x200 or Xiaomi 15 ultra because they k... moreNot 100% true. They buy a so called camera phone. But it's always lagging behind real, dedicated gear - natural cause, a phone is a phone is a phone - it's as good as it gets, but never the real deal, like true camera gear, by design. You have no true aperture, no true DoF, bokeh, or aperture settings. Only limited on some phones, and then only onto the main Sensor only, and this varies between 1/1.28" up to 1" (Type 1.0, Nikon CX Format, 13.2x8.8mm as said quite often before). You don't have a triple or quad Type 1.0" Sensor camera phone setup - yet into no "Ultra" from any brand, into 2025! Go figure.
Besides that, the Vivo X200 Ultra is into 2025 the best camera phone, one can buy. But real 1.0" Sensor size on all Sensors with variable aperture on all Sensors would being MUCH better ! Maybe in 2026...2027 to come...
And a phone is always a square brick by design, doesn't feature ergonomics like a dedicated camera, doesn't have a viewfinder...but you have it always at your fingertips. Personally, i am fine with a middle class phone for snapshots, in case i do need it.
But when taking seriously pictures, then with real gear only. For photowalks, or meeting interesting places, cities, etc. I don't want to ruin that with just a phone quality image. The difference between real gear and a phone also is - you buy into a system - and that system is called lenses - one does exchange the body all couple ages...usually within 3-6 years...but not the lenses.
With a phone - you pay much sh!t over 1.500 for the latest & greatest..after 12 months it's technically cr@p from brave yesterdays...because there is always a better, newer, faster model as successor out there. And unlike dedicated gear for photography, you don't keep the phone for many years, even decades. It's electro waste after a few years...go figure.

ciggsaftrcryi, 19 Apr 2025Also, how do you call a 1" sensor and f/1.6-f/4.0 &quo... moreCheck out the Sony RX10/RX100 Series! You can always use the FULL aperture on these Sensors and attached lenses (Nikon CX Format, 13.2x8.8mm) Compared to ANY phone, the latter one is limited always, in terms of aperture - simply! You can't stop down to F8-F22, go figure! Yes it's limited in terms of aperture range, seriously.

Gen-Z phone freaks have no clue about photography, not about Sensor Size, not about Tonality & Rendition, and they know only fake bokeh, fake DoF from their phones...it's only quite rare, that some models do have a real aperture mechanism, Xiaomi, for true DoF...but only very limited, compared to a real lens...and bigger Sensor...and also, haptics, ergonomics, never ever being the same, like on dedicated camera gear...plus, there's simply by design no viewfinder via phone...
